This compact home needed breathing room. By rethinking the layout and focusing on flow, light, and material warmth, the space was transformed into a calm, inviting retreat. Soft Japandi minimalism guided the design: warm walnut tones, clean lines, and gentle textures create harmony throughout. A hidden WC under the stairs and the removal of the chimney breast freed up valuable space, while higher ceilings brought in a new sense of height and airiness.
